Five Days in Bam

This film was taken almost a year after the devastating earthquake in the city of Bam. I interviewed several people, and finally decided this is the man I would trust to accompany to the Bam city for filming. It shows daily routines of his staff to help the remaining victims, and families of the earthquake. It was during this visit that I fell in love with the personality of Khosro Mansourian. One night while we were laying in sleeping bags a few feet apart in his tent, he told me about his memories of Dr. Ali Shariati, and that they had a close friendship. My later visits to his office in Tehran led to making of the film "Regarding Ali".
